Previous work

âž¡ Java Software Engineer at DataScouting Website
November 2019 - November 2023 (4yrs)

DataScouting is a media monitoring company. While working there I:
  • Had a leading role on the architecture, development and maintenance of the main company product
  • Owned several services that aid the ingestion and processing of data at terabytes/month rates
  • Took part in deploying and managing our services on AWS
  • Helped onboard, guide and assign tasks to new members as they joined
  • Took on extra roles as needs came up, became well-versed on the specific domain and user requirements
  • Communicated with outside partners/third parties, wrote a handful of deliverables and carried out a few presentations as part of ESI Funds audits

Notable projects

March 2018 - April 2022 (latest commit in March 2022)

Concordia is a distributed forum platform that uses Blockchain and a decentralized database. It also supports direct democratic votings. It's an open source project that I co-created as part of my thesis.

mTHMMY is a mobile application for the thmmy.gr student community. It's a development project that I co-founded, with the mission to make the thmmy forum mobile friendly and help revive its community.
